About exdate

exdate is a free set of dividend calculators, made by an independent developer in New York. It covers the questions dividend investors run into most: how much a stock will pay, what reinvesting does over twenty years, when to buy to get the next payment, and how much of it goes to taxes.

The site exists because most dividend calculators online either hide their math or try to sell you something. Here, every calculator shows its formula and walks through a worked example with the same numbers you see on screen, so you can check the result yourself.

You type in your own numbers. There are no accounts, no stock quotes and nothing to install. Every calculation runs in your browser, and nothing you enter is stored. The site is paid for by a small number of ads, placed so they never get in the way of a calculator.
