Terms of use

Effective October 8, 2026

By using exdate.app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Free to use

The calculators are free for personal use. You don’t need an account, and we may change or remove any part of the site at any time.

Estimates, not advice

Results are estimates based only on the numbers you enter and the assumptions explained on each page. They are for information and education. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Check important numbers with your broker, the company’s announcements or a qualified professional before you act on them.

Tax figures and dates

Tax brackets and rates are for the tax year shown on each tax calculator and may be out of date after that year. Market holiday calendars cover the years listed on the page. Tax rules and market schedules can change, and your own situation may differ from the simple cases these calculators handle.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We work to keep the math correct, but we can’t promise it’s free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, exdate and its owner are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results, including investment losses, tax penalties or lost profits.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no automated scraping or copying of its content, no attempts to disrupt or overload it, and no use that breaks the law. The text, design and code of exdate are protected by copyright.

Ads and links

The site shows ads from Google and links to other websites. We don’t control those ads or sites and aren’t responsible for their content or offers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed.
